Worship is a Spiritual matter so it definitely encounters spiritual warfare. The Holy Spirit instructs the church that the weapons of our warfare are not of our flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses, destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). When our eyes are off the Lord, and when our priorities and agenda are different from His, then confusion, bewilderment, and turmoil replace the order and understanding that comes from God.
Strife on our music team is generally not a matter of "personality conflicts". It is spiritual in nature and must be handled through the covering in prayer and submission to the authority of the Holy Spirit. Therefore we must keep our eyes in the Word, our minds bathed in prayer and our hearts humbled before our precious Lord.
We thank the Lord and appreciate everyone on our praise team, for your sacrifice, your talent and your love of our Lord has been a true blessing.
